Affiliation resident or returned from abroad
Affiliation as a resident abroad
Colombians residing abroad, whose families are based in Colombia, can enjoy the social services of Comfenalco Valle Delagente (they do not include monetary subsidies or unemployment protection), paying the 2% on the declared contribution base income, which does not may be less than two (2) SMMLV.
Requirements
- Affiliation form, duly filled out physically or digitally.
- Affiliation application letter to Comfenalco Valle Delagente, indicating the value of their income (they cannot be less than two (2) SMMLV) and whether or not they have been affiliated with any Family Compensation Fund in the department of Valle del Cauca.
- Photocopy of the citizenship card of the Colombian residing abroad.
- Certificate of proof of life (survival) issued by the consular representation abroad (it is free, in accordance with Law 1450 of 2012).
- Certificate of peace and save, in the case of previous affiliation to another compensation fund in Valle del Cauca.
Documents to affiliate the family group
- Marriage civil registry, or affidavit (if it is a free union).
- Photocopy of the civil registry of children under 23 years of age and of the worker (if you are going to enroll parents with economic dependence).
- If you have siblings who are orphans of both parents, attach a legible photocopy of the birth certificate of the worker and his brother, to prove kinship, and a photocopy of the death certificate of both parents.
- Photocopy of the identity document of all the beneficiaries (identity cards for children over 7 years of age, citizenship card, foreigner, passport for over 18 years of age).
- Fill out the sworn statement in the form, to prove economic dependency.
Affiliation as a returnee from abroad
Requirements
- Affiliation form, duly filled out physically or digitally.
- Membership request letter to Comfenalco Valle Delagente, indicating the date from which you wish to join.
- Photocopy of the citizenship card of the returnee from abroad.
- Certificate of the beneficiary of Law 1565 of 2012, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, through the single registry of returnees.
Documents to affiliate the family group
- Marriage civil registry, or affidavit (if it is a free union).
- Photocopy of the civil registry of children under 23 years of age and of the worker (if you are going to enroll parents with economic dependence).

Once you meet the above requirements, you can join in two ways:

Go to the user service point, located at the main headquarters in Cali, at Calle 5 # 6 – 63, tower C, floor 1; at the administrative headquarters of the regional offices of the Comfenalco Valle Delagente Compensation Fund. You must present, fully filled out, all the documents indicated in the previous steps.
