- The 34th version of the 'Cafam Women's Award' exalts those women who are innate leaders, who act with equity criteria and dignify the quality of life of the least favored. Applications for Cafam Valle del Cauca Women can be made until October 14, 2022.
Comfandi and Comfenalco Valle Delagente, invite all citizens and entities of the social sector, to nominate the Valle del Cauca women who have the power to transform realities, in version number 34 of the 'Cafam Award for Women', which for this year will exalt the ability to be reborn in the midst of adversity.
The 'Cafam Award for Women' will accept applications from women who, through their effort, human and moral merits, have contributed to improving the quality of life of individuals, families or communities in any region of the national territory. Women who have worked mainly for the benefit of those who suffer the consequences of illness, poverty, abandonment, natural tragedies or violence, as long as their works and actions comply with the principles and objectives of social responsibility.
“This recognition seeks to highlight the value of women in society. For this version, we want to make visible its ability to be reborn in the midst of adversity, to collectively forge the well-being of communities through actions in favor of those most in need and that, with social initiatives, contribute to the construction of the social fabric.”, he pointed Viviana Echeverri, Director of Corporate Affairs at Comfandi.
For his part, Juan Carlos Londoño Medellín, Director of Social Services and Corporate Relations of Comfenalco Valle Delagente, stated that: “We are looking for great women from Valle del Cauca who lead social initiatives in favor of the community, to apply for this award, because we are sure that in our region we have great potential for projects through which the social transformation, with a high impact for the benefit of boys, girls, older adults, people in vulnerable situations and indigenous people.

- The women to apply must be of legal age, of any socioeconomic condition and that their work responds to the objective of the award.
