Only two Savings Bank Employment Agencies in the country hold this certification.
The Comfenalco Valle Delagente Employment Agency is one of the two organizations of this type, in Colombia, to be certified in ISO 9001:2015, the own standard of Employment Agencies (NTC 6175).
The area was certified for the first time on May 5, 2016 and was recertified in an external audit carried out in November 2021, valid until February 20, 2025.
This quality standard is maintained thanks to the organized and strict work carried out inside. Here it is worth mentioning that, during 2021, 14,090 vacancies were published at the regional level, from which 9,419 job seekers were placed in 576 companies in our region.
Among the sectors with the highest placement is Operations with approximately 3,600 placements, Commercial with 2,078 and Security with 1,625. For its part, the Logistics sector allowed the generation of 1,594 jobs, the Administrative 992 and the BPO 783, to a lesser extent there were contracts from areas such as Cleaning and Disinfection, ICT and Health.
During the year 2021, a total of 25,527 people received support from a team of specialized psychologists who advised users on the best way to present themselves to the selection processes, from the preparation of their resume, to the Presentation of job interviews.
Similarly, more than 14,000 vacancies offered by the business sector were received, who see the Employment Agency as a strategic ally to achieve the profiles they require. Of this number of job offers, it was possible to get around 9,419 people hired, thus contributing to the reduction of unemployment that currently occurs in our department.
Around 17,000 people were trained with a view to strengthening their skills and technical knowledge, in topics such as Excel management, coaching, customer service, among others.
Regarding the unemployment subsidy, in 2021 the emergency subsidy was awarded to approximately 4,055 users who received financial support of two current legal monthly minimum wages (SMMLV) distributed over three (3) months, as well as contributions to EPS and pension , and payment of a monetary fee for each beneficiary; These people were integrated into the employability route to thereby support them in the search for job opportunities.
In order to continue strengthening the provision of its services, the Delagente Employment Agency plans to achieve the NTC-6175 certification this year, which seeks to set standards and requirements that Employment Service providers must meet to carry out their management and placement operation. under quality conditions, providing better services to job seekers and employers.
