It is important to emphasize that any news that is made to the affiliation must be reported through the Single Form of Affiliation and Registration of News to the SGSSS or through the Integrated Contribution Settlement Form with their respective supports that prove the application of each news.
This novelty is reported when the contributor, head of the family and/or contributor, modifies one or more of the basic identification data of the contributor, head of the family, beneficiaries or additional affiliates, for which he must present the identity document, in the stating such modifications.
If the basic identification data (surname, first names, date of birth, sex, type and number of identification document) of the contributor, head of the family, beneficiary or additional affiliate were incorrectly registered in the current affiliate database and do not match with those of the identity document, the affiliate must report the novelty to the EPS the novelty of "Correction of basic data" of identification in the Unique Form of Affiliation and Registration of News to the General System of Social Security in Health -SGSSS and attach the copy of the identity document.
This novelty is reported when the contributor, head of the family, beneficiary or additional affiliate reached the age that obliges him to change his identity document (Civil Registry of Birth for Identity Card or Identity Card for Citizenship Card) or in the case of foreigners due to loss of validity of the identification document, according to migration regulations.
This novelty is reported when the complementary data registered in the affiliation form of the contributor, head of the family, beneficiary or additional affiliate needs to be updated or modified.
The termination of the registration in the EPS, will occur when the contributor in the Contributive Regime or the head of the family in the subsidized report any of the following news:
✔ Transfer.
✔ Loss of the conditions to continue contributing when the labor protection, the protection mechanism for the unemployed has been exhausted or one does not have the right to them and mobility does not operate.
✔ Termination of beneficiary status.
✔ Establishment of residence outside the country.
✔ Fulfillment of the conditions to belong to an Excepted or Special Regime.
✔ Compliance with the conditions to be a contributor in the Contributory Regime, according to the competent authority.
✔ In the case of persons deprived of liberty, the coverage is provided by the National Health Fund for Persons Deprived of Liberty.
To prove the completion of the registration in the EPS for traveling abroad, the user must attach a photocopy of the ticket, passport and visas which certify the departure from the country or a document that proves that their place of residence is outside of Colombian territory.
This novelty applies in cases where the contributor of the Contributive Regime or the head of the family in the subsidized have been affected by the novelty of termination of the registration in an EPS, and wish to make a new registration to once again meet the conditions to be on the SGSSS.
In the application of this novelty, the update or correction of the complementary data and the beginnings of labor relations can be reported.
This novelty is reported to include a member of the family nucleus that meets the conditions to be a beneficiary. This novelty is reported to exclude from the family nucleus a beneficiary who has lost the conditions to be so, such as exceeding the required age, start of employment relationship or acquisition of conditions to contribute, loss of status as spouse or permanent partner , or when the beneficiary is going to integrate another family nucleus. It also applies to the exclusion of an additional affiliate.
For any situation, with the exception of cases where the affiliate begins a labor relationship, the request must be made in writing, explaining the reason and providing the supporting documents as appropriate:
► Spouse – must present the judicial sentence of termination of the marriage bond, or in the public deed as appropriate, which must specify that maintenance duties were agreed, which includes the Health Service to the user who wishes to withdraw as a beneficiary, if in the judicial sentence of divorce, the duty of maintenance was not provided, he may be disaffiliated as long as the existence of a treatment for an illness acquired prior to the date of divorce is not verified.
► Permanent partner – The formal withdrawal request must be made, by means of a letter, in which the time of non-cohabitation is specified, in which it is clarified that total independence was agreed between the spouses of the food obligations, remembering that within that class of obligation is the Health Service. If there are children, it must be specified under which contributor the custody and economic dependency will remain in the EPS. ► For travel abroad – The contributor must make a formal written request to withdraw from the EPS due to travel and must attach a photocopy of tickets, passport and visas which certify departure from the country or document that proves their place of residence It is outside of Colombian territory.
Take into account that the novelty will be viable as long as there are no ongoing treatments for the person they wish to withdraw.
This novelty is reported when the contributor, head of the family, beneficiary or additional affiliate starts a labor relationship or acquires conditions to contribute. It is important to bear in mind that if it is the head of the family or a beneficiary in the Subsidized Regime, he must mark the novelty of Mobility.
This novelty is reported when a dependent contributing member ends his employment relationship or when the independent contributing member loses the conditions to continue as a contributing member.
Membership is processed through the Unique Membership Form.
This novelty is reported when a dependent contributing affiliate begins his employment relationship.
The termination of the employment relationship is processed through the Unique Affiliation Form only in cases in which the news is not reported in a timely manner through the Integrated Contribution Settlement Form - PILA, attaching a formal letter from the Entity Authorized to make affiliations collective.
This novelty is reported when a dependent contributing affiliate terminates his employment relationship.
The termination of the employment relationship is processed through the Unique Affiliation Form only in cases in which the news is not reported in a timely manner through the Integrated Contribution Settlement Form - PILA, attaching a formal letter from the Entity Authorized to make affiliations collective.
a) Contributory Regime b) Subsidized Regime
Mobility in the SGSSS in the change of regime within the same EPS, the novelty of mobility from the Contributory Regime to the Subsidized Regime must be reported by the contributor individually and directly to the EPS through the Unique Form of Affiliation and Registration of News to the SGSSS, or through the SAT when it begins to operate, the day after the termination of the labor relationship or the loss of the conditions to continue quoting as an independent worker and no later than the last calendar day of the respective month or the day after expiration of the period of labor protection or of the protection mechanism for the unemployed, if any.
Likewise, this novelty must be reported when the head of the family or one of its beneficiaries of the subsidized regime starts a labor relationship or acquires the conditions to contribute and must remain in the same EPS in the Contributive Regime.
This novelty is reported when the contributor or the head of the family, in exercise of the right to free choice, expresses his decision to change to another EPS of the same or different regime.
To exercise the right to transfer, the contributing member or head of the family must:
✔ Being registered in the same EPS for a minimum period of three hundred sixty (360) continuous or discontinuous calendar days, counted from the moment of registration.
✔ Not being hospitalized in a health service provider institution, which also applies to any member of your family nucleus.
✔ The independent worker must be safe and secure in the payment of contributions to the SGSSS.
✔ Register all members of your family nucleus in the transfer request.
Applies when the contributor, the head of the family or the additional beneficiaries or affiliates die. When the deceased is the contributor or the head of the family, the news must be reported by the beneficiary.
► Due to death – they must present the death certificate to proceed with the removal of the member of the family group.
Bear in mind that, if the death is of the contributor, the entire family group will be withdrawn until a new affiliation is formalized with the General Social Security Health System for the rest of the people in the basic group.
This novelty is reported when the contributor terminates the employment relationship or loses the conditions to continue contributing and requests unemployment protection coverage from the Family Compensation Fund in which he is affiliated.
For this novelty, it is necessary to attach a letter from the Compensation Fund identifying that the contributor has earned this protection.
The novelty of pre-pensioner is reported when the contributor has filed the request for pension recognition, is not obliged to contribute and makes the financial effort to continue contributing on one (1) current legal monthly minimum wage.
