Its proximity to the port of Buenaventura makes it one of the most visited areas. Its warm waters attract the largest number of humpback whales during the breeding season. There is a diversity of marine flora and fauna, rest, tranquility, and tourist activities on these two beaches, scenes of great natural wealth.<\/p>

La Bocana has light gray sand beaches. An unknown place still for many Colombians.<\/p>

It is located 20 minutes by boat from the Special District, with quiet beaches, and lodging service and typical gastronomy of the region.<\/p>

One of the attractions of the place is the interpretative ecological trail with water currents and routes of other elements of varied interest.<\/p>

There are no roads, no cars, and cell phones don't work. A few motorcycles cross its only main street. La Bocana can only be reached by water, in small boats that leave from the tourist pier.<\/p>

The most important Colombian port on the Pacific Ocean, due to the volume of cargo it moves (more than 60% of the country's trade). Officially Special, Industrial, Port, Biodiverse and Ecotourism District of Buenaventura. Located 115 km by road from Cali and is separated from it by the Western Cordillera of the Andes. It is the largest city in the entire Pacific region and the largest municipality in the department.<\/p>

This route known as "La V\u00eda al Mar", makes it possible to come into contact with the varied geography and a great contrast of climates and landscapes.<\/p>

Without a doubt, the route that leads from Cali to Buenaventura is one of the most picturesque routes.<\/p>

The music of this area, the marimba and the traditional songs of the southern Pacific of Colombia, have been classified as intangible heritage of humanity by Unesco.<\/p>

Buenaventura Tourist Floating Dock:<\/h3>

Hundreds of passengers who visit the beaches of the Pacific coast pass through this maritime terminal. It registers a high activity in whale season and Easter. It is over the Pacific Ocean. The economic activity of this city is focused on port activities, fishing, mining and tourism that give the city a dynamic and exotic air. It is the only floating tourist dock in the Colombian Pacific, authorized by the Port Authority. Its important flow of passengers uses maritime transport to the beaches of La Bocana, Piang\u00fcita, Juanchaco, Ladrilleros and La Barra.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

La Sierpe Waterfall <\/h3>

A spectacle that surprises those who visit the Bah\u00eda M\u00e1laga natural humid forest, which can be reached by speedboat from Buenaventura, a 1-hour drive. In the Regional Natural Park of La Sierpe, there are two recognized waterfalls. Its fresh waters fall 60 meters over the salty sea water, creating a natural pool where you can swim freely. Chucheros Beach <\/h3>

Located on the south side of Bah\u00eda de M\u00e1laga, 10 minutes by boat from Juanchaco. This wonderful destination is the most appropriate to enjoy with family, couples or friends. It has a 10-meter-high waterfall, which forms a freshwater pool on the beach, and an extension of 1,500 meters, from where you can see the sea. John of God Beach <\/h3>

It is a natural reserve registered in the La Sierpe Regional Natural Park and in the Uramba National Natural Park, in Bah\u00eda M\u00e1laga, Buenaventura. These parks are protected, from their declaration in 2008 and 2010 respectively. There are 25,178 hectares of tropical rain forest and floodplain forest between 00-100 meters above sea level, as well as pelagic and coastal ecosystems, such as beaches, cliffs, deltas, estuaries and islands.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Saint Cyprian <\/h3>

It is a nature reserve located in the heart of the jungle on the Pacific coast, 2 hours from Cali, on the road to Buenaventura. Getting to know San Cipriano is going back in time, discovering a means of transportation typical of this place, going into the jungle, getting closer to nature, feeling the humid wind on your face and reliving childhood.
\n\nThis community, located among dense forests, next to a beautiful river and with hiking trails that lead to waterfalls, can only be accessed through an old train track. The local community, which self-manages its resources, has established a nice transport system (for people and goods) with small wagons (called witches) that are driven by adapted motorcycles.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
